Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative!

Seize the Birthday !

The card is all Stampin Up products except for the sentiment is from Verve!

Over at Seize the Birthday!

Our “Toppings” option this time is

“Twine and or String”

Hope you come on over at Join Us at Seize the Birthday!

Boy the team did some great work!

Have to make this a quick post today sorry!

I’ll explain in a few days!

I so appreciate you stopping by….it means more then you will ever know!

Take care,

Stars and or Stripes

Hello Friends,

With Fourth of July weekend right around the corner the ladies and I

over at Seize the Birthday have a “Toppings” option that fits the occasion.

STB Toppings

You don’t have to stick to the traditional Red, White and Blue like I did,

just incorporate Stars and or Stripes in your card!

And remember over at STB the “Topping” is and Option and not a requirement!

You just have to stick to the Birthday Theme!

I also, have a brand new Challenge site that one of my

friends and fellow Just Us Girls teammates has started and it’s called…

Mixed Media Mojo!

Graphic2 copy 2

I just so happened to have been dabbling in MM this week so it worked out

perfectly when I heard all about it!  Don’t you love when that happens!

They also have a Patriotic theme going on!

Best of Luck Maria…on your new Challenge Site!

Here are a couple more shots of my card so that you can see the details.

My new favorite thing is Embossing paste!  Soooo Fun!!

I have two layers on my flag.

It’s so much fun going through my stencils and using them again!

I got a little carried away with my Ranger Rick Red Ink spritz,

but what ya gonna do..I am still learning!  I guess I have a heavy finger! LOL

I soooo wish I would have taken step by step shots of this card..because it had many steps.

I even took my stencil and layed it back on my card to color in the

stars they have paste under them as well.

The Silver DP at the bottom I loved, but thought it needed a couple of red and blue

stars on it to tie it all in together.  Luckily I have a small star hole punch!

The sentiment is from Verve!

I have a girlfriend who has a Fourth of July Birthday…and I sure hope she likes her card!

Now, I have linked up both sites for you to go and check out!

I hope to see you over at STB this time!

You wouldn’t believe what my talented team did

with the Topping this week!

Take care and Happy 4th!

Happy Birthday Times 3!

Hi Friends,

Sorry I have been so quiet!  Hubby and I just got back from moving our son from one college to another!

I told Ty that he is suppose to move closer to home not further away.

He went from FSU- Tallahassee 4.5 hours from home,

to SCAD -Savannah, Ga. 6.5 hours.  He is finishing his BA this Friday

and starting his Masters on Monday….he is a go gettter, that is for sure!

I am soooo proud of him!! :)  Sometimes I wonder whose kid he is!

He said he is preparing me for the day he moves to California! :(

Okay, on to the real reason you are here!

Todays card is for 3 different challenges!

Seize the Birthday which just so happens to be Anything Goes this week.

A great sketch  from Always Playing with Paper.

and last but certainly not least…

A great color challenge from Colour Me.

Sketch 9Linky badge

_GraphicI have each challenge site linked up for you so you can join me!

Here are a few Card Details:

Cardstock: Stampin Up and Gina K

DP: Not sure…sorry! LOVE it!

Ink: SU-Inspiration Mosaic and

Stamps: Gina K Designs-

The rest is self explanatory!

Have a wonderful day and find sometime to be creative…

it’s good for the soul!

….and the living is easy!  Had to finish my line from my title. LOL

Pretty soon the living will be easy….3 more days of school. WooHooo!

In honor of “Summertime” being around the corner I decided that would

be a great “Topping” option over at Seize the Birthday this time around!

If your not a toppings kinda person, well… can just

stick with our usual “Anything Goes”Birthday!

The choice is yours!

I got a little creative with my card.  I wanted to use a Sun on my

card and all I had in my stamps was a small one.  So I stretched

the envelope and use a Doily stamp from Stampin UP.

My hubby thought it was kinda strange… and the jury is

still out for me, I am undecided how I feel about this card.

The yellow from my tag and sun match much better in person

to my DP, then they do in my photo too.

I made the clouds myself.

The pennant die is from MFT.

The sentiment is a Studio G from Michaels.

The paper is from Fancy Pants-titled Parkbench.

Now,  Head on over to Seize the Birthday and check out

my fellow designers wonderful cards and see what “ SUMMERTIME”

means to them and then show us what it means to YOU!

See you there,

Just Us Girls…Inspiration Time.

I can’t take credit for this cute design…a good friend of mine came up with it!

I love it…don’t you?  Wish I had those sandals on right now and I was at the beach!

Most of the supplies are from Stampin UP and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Come on over to Just Us Girls and see what the talented teammates of mine did with this Inspiration Photo!

We all interpreted it quite differently!  Love that!

Stamp TV Release Party Re-cap!

Hello friends,

Last night over at Stamp TV It was release time and I finally got to share

with everyone what I did with their newest stamp sets as a featured Guest Designer this month.

Here are each one of the Fabulous Stamp Sets and a link for you on how

to purchase them for yourself!  I had such a great time working with my fellow guest designers-Judy and Karen.

The pair of you did FABULOUS, and it was so much fun working alongside you both behind the scenes these past few weeks.

I find you both so talented and funny, and am thrilled that we have become better friends!  Of course, none of this would

have been possible, without the guidance of Lee Murphy the Stamp TV Design Team Member.  You rock Lee!

Here we go…time for my cards!

The first set was designed by Beth Silaika.

 It’s called Fleur di lis.

I really LOVE it!  So versatile with great patterns!

Next, we have Debbie Corbari with another fabulous Diva! Golf Diva.

Really happy with the way this came together!  So much fun to make!

Theresa Momber set coordinates well with her other Out West 2 stamp set!

This was the most challenging for me…but I wasn’t about to give up!

Now we have Rupa Shevde with this beautiful set featuring tons of

vases and florals called Flowers Bloom.

LOVE this set!

Last but certainly not least, we have Melanie Muenchinger’s set called Lots of Letters 2.

The sky is the limit for this set! A must have in your stamp collection!

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I have been up to the past few days!

I have really enjoyed playing with these new sets!!

If you have any questions at all please just give me a shout out!

Here are all of the sets that I featured and you can find them Here!

Hope you find sometime to be creative…it’s good for the soul.
