Simple and Elegant

Simple and ElegantWhat else can we do on a rainy day-but STAMP?  I have had the most fun today just playing around in the studio and practicing taking photos of my cards ( which still needs a lot of work).  This card does look better in person and I know eventually I won’t have to keep saying this! LOL

Idea for layout came from a Stamping Up Catalog

I also entered it on a challenge on Stamp TV !

Happy Son’s Day !

June 30th is Son's Day at our House!

June 30th is Son's Day at our House!

Last year my hubby and I declared June 30th  as  Son’s Day ( if it’s already a Holiday I’m not aware) anyways since we have Mother’s Day and Father’s Day we thought why not!   So today while he is at work , I created this card for him to keep the tradition going.   I have such a hard time with masculine cards, but I like it pretty well!  We are sooooooo blessed to have the most terrific son anyone could possibly have, he is simply a gift from above!  He amazes us each and every day and makes our life such a joy!  I just wish he would stop growing up so fast!  He will be a Junior in Highschool this coming year.  WE LOVE YOU TYLER!

Inside of card says: You were not born to Fit In, you were born to Stand Out!

I cheated on this card!  I used my Computer for all the writing!

Paper: Cardstock Pad (Story of Us) (from Michaels)

Accessories:  Sm. and lg. star punch and star brads

Happy Summer more time to Stamp!

I love summer time and we get a chance to tackle the things we don’t get to touch during the school year, for example my blog!  LOL   I know it’s been almost a year since I last posted and I am so embarassed!  But as we all know life happens and priorities take over!  Anyways,  I am going to try really hard this time to learn all I need to learn from my smart and computer savy son and see If I can’t get this thing looking good!

I also have posted on Stamp TV ( which is an AWESOME site) my first challenge.  If you get a chance check it out.
