Scrapbooking Again!

Long before I got introduced to stamping and card making I was a very avid “scrapbooker.”  It’s been quite a few months now since I actually picked up some photos (of my own) and I am trying to get my interest to blossom again! Put it this way I use to only be 1 year behind on my scrapbooking and now I am at least 5,  which to many people that sounds really good I know!  LOL

Since my blog name is Scrapper@heart, I thought it was time to try and do both cards and scrapbooking, cause lord knows I don’t want to give up stamping- it’s time to try to challenge myself to do both!  Wish me luck!

Thanks for visiting and if you have time, join my challenge and start working on those photos again!!

Here it is!!   A two page spread!

Take Flight!

Happy Sunday,

Finally it’s a warm beautiful day here in Florida!!    This is more like it, the windows are open and it feels wonderful!   I made this card for this week’s color challenge over at you guessed it… Stamp TV.   Also, for some reason I can’t get my camera to capture the true color of the ribbon…. its not blue, it’s actually the same color as the purple card stock! ( insert frustrated face here… LOL) Enjoy your day, whatever you might be doing!

Supplies used:

Stamps- Take Flight- Gina K designs-@Stamp TV

Cardstock-Creative Memories

Purple ink- Stampin Up

Accessories- gems, ribbon, and pop dots, cuttlebug

Seeing Stars…..

In more ways than one!  I’ll explain in a minute- This card is from a challenge over at Stamp TV. Gina asked us to create a project that has stars on it somewhere. It can be anywhere you want- in the background, as a focal image or in the photo of a scrapbook page.  This is what I came up with at the last minute before the challenge was over.  I always seem to be either almost late for a challenge or miss it all together!! LOL  Does this happen to you??

The other reason I will be seeing stars tonight (performing stars) is that in a few minutes my family and are are going to see WICKED the musical- at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts.  Tyler and are are really excited and hopefully when it is all said and done my DH will have enjoyed it as well. ( He’s not quite as excited as us) LOL

We have been waiting for this forever!

Valentine’s Day!

Hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day!  Mine was very quiet because DH wasn’t feeling very good.  But he’s not big on that Holiday anyways,  he always says ” I don’t need a Hallmark Holiday to remind me to tell my wife I love her.”

This card is for a challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges. Check it out if you get a chance!

Anyways, this is a card I sent to my sister!

Feel Better

Happy Hump Day!  Since most of the country is freezing or under snow it was a good excuse tonight to stamp!  It has been such a cold winter here in Florida and tonight is no exception.  The running joke at my school is ” When I retire I’m moving to Florida where it’s warm”.  LOL

Well, here is my card!  It’s not my favorite,

so I decided to soften it a little to make it look better. LOL

Till next time,

Hope

I just got done reading a very sad post from a fellow stamper that I follow, she recently and suddenly lost her husband. I have never met Shannan Teubner, but have admired her work for quite sometime. I was very saddened to here about her husband’s passing.  Her and her boys will be in my prayers and this card will go out to her!

Hug your love ones today,

Sympathy Cards

Unfortunately, You can never have enough Sympathy cards on hand.  My sister in laws father passed away over the weekend and she loves stamping like I do, so I thought I would make her a card.  One the inside it reads- May the Lord Comfort your heart as only He can do. I thought it was a great statement!

Have a wonderful week!

Hug the ones you love,
