I have a hard time making CAS cards and then when I am done, I usual like it and think…why don’t I make more of these! Aren’t yellow roses just beautiful! I feel very thankful to have wonderful neighbors who were so kind to think of me and send these to me while I was spending Thanksgiving in the hospital. I have never been fortunate enough to get roses that actually open. LOL Anyways, I know this is not why you stopped by today, but just had to capture these with my camera. An as soon as I re-coop from my 4days in the Hospital (unexpected I might add) I will get back to being crafty!

Happy weekend! My cute little bunny card is for a Casing Challenge over at Stamp Tv. As I tell my students at school when they tell me he or she is copying me, I always tell them you should take it as a compliment because that means they like your work or ideas. This is no exception! Emily has a fabulous gallery to choose from, the toughest part was to figure out which card to case.
My Thanksgiving is off to a great early start, my son is home from college already!

I enjoyed the challenges I played in over the weekend so much that I decided to enter one more time in the Casual Friday’s challenge. The challenge was to create a Card or project with a Tag on it. I made this card for my hubby’s nephew who is getting married. I thought the two hearts were a nice touch for a Bridal Shower card.

I was very excited when I read the details of this challenge over at Stamp TV. Jennie challenged us to use up our scraps. Well, we all have plenty of those don’t we!!! Awhile ago, I came across this card over at Pinterest and have been wanting to see if I could do it justice. If you have never been on Pinterest and you click on my link, I will take full responsibility, cause you will become hooked just like me!! LOL You think I am joking….go have a go, you’ll see! 🙂

And this is my take on this great idea!! I just realized my circles are put on differently….oh well!
I managed to make this card for two different challenges. I love my new Scalloped Tag Stamp from Verve and that was the challenge for Casual Fridays…to incorporate a Tag (so simple) and the Sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches. I love starting a card with a sketch! If you have never participated in either of these challenges, I encourage you to do so! Have you ever had a piece of paper that you just fell in love with? Well the DP that you see here is mine and I only have a small piece of it left! 😦
