Clean and Simple

The card I have for you today is for the Clean and Simple sketch challenge #174!  I don’t know about you, but it seems like over the last few months I have needed so many sympathy cards. 😦  I hope this trend stops really soon, and I can make more cards for Happy occasions!

Have a fantastic middle of the week my friends.

Check back any time, I just love when I have visitors!

Got my Mojo this weekend!

What a fabulous weekend it was here in Sunny Florida!  Not only was the weather great, I had the opportunity to get together with a group of ladies that enjoy being creative as much as I do.  The neat part is, is that we had never met in person and had only spoken via computer over at StampTV.  So I decided that we should get together!  They came to my house and we had some lunch and enjoyed some stamping time together!  It turned out just wonderful!  And we are going to try and do it on a regular basis!  The girl time seemed to kick my mojo into geer!  Now onto the real reason you stopped by! 🙂  This card is for the Mojo Monday Sketch225.  As soon as I saw it I knew I was going to play along!  It was different and it intrigued me!

This card is for my Hubby for Valentine’s Day…let’s just hope he doesn’t visit my blog any time soon!

Have a great week my friends,

Our Creative Corner

Here is the Inspiration Photo!

I had the pleasure to make a card over the weekend for an Inspiration Photo challenge over at Our Creative Corner.  Part of the challenge is that I had to pick two elements off the photo that inspired my card.  The first is the color of the cake that it is the background of the photo, it’s more of a light teal…which is in my DP and my ribbon. The second inspiration is the pretty candle holders and their curvy lines which is represented in my tag.  Not to mention all the flowers on the DP.  What a beautiful table for a baby shower, isn’t it?

As always thanks for stopping by and commenting,

Black and White

The weekend is over and back to work we go.  Hope you had a creative weekend, I know I did!  The card I have for you today is for two different challenges. The first one is for Less is More, their request was to ” cut it out”. I have done this technique before, but it’s been awhile.   And the other challenge is for Casual Fridays, they asked us to use only Black and White and not a speck of any other color.  The card was made for a co-worker that will be leaving us soon, she is a long term sub for the music teacher who has been out this entire school year,  she has done a really nice job filling in!  I Hope she likes it!

Have a fantastic week my friends,

For Your Inspiration

Happy Saturday!  The card I have for you today is for an inspiration Photo challenge over at FYI.  As soon as I saw the colors I knew I had to play along!  Isn’t that Photo just gorgeous!!  On this particular card, I thought it might be fun to make my own DP.  It didn’t come out perfect, but not bad for my first attempt. I realize their is no blue in the Inspiration photo, but I thought it worked well with the rest of the colors and gave it a little pop.

Thanks so much for all your comments they make my day!

Love is Family….

Love to me today is Family!  And today in particular I am missing the other part of my immediate family something fierce. That would be my son! 😦  He is such a joy to have around the house, and it just isn’t the same without him here!  Oh well, that is not why you are here now is it!   The card I have for you today is for two challenges… the Sweet Stop Sketch and the Jugs Challenge. The Jugs Challenge was to make a card with a collage theme.   Love that idea!!

  Thanks for stopping by!!

Enjoy your day wherever you are,

More than just Mojo…..

I have been busy this weekend….cleaning out, organizing and of course Stamping!  The cards I have for you today are for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge #17 and Mojo #223.  I love the DP so much, that I ended up making three cards with the same color combo.  I love to do that!  The first two cards are for Freshly Made Sketches and the third one is for Mojo Monday.  Thanks so much for stopping by….I love when you do!

So I hope you have a fantastic day wherever you are and you find time to be creative!

Getting Sketchy with JUGS

Hello Stampers…The card I have for you today is for the Sketch Challenge #118 over at JUGS.  As soon as I saw it I knew I had to play along!  It also gave me an excuse to open a new Cricut Cartridge that I just bought myself called Picturesque.  I cut the Cherry Blossom flowers with it for this particular card.  Not sure on the photo if you can see the details on the flowers.  I  will show you in a few days what else I have done with it.  So far I think I am going to just love it!

Have a fantastic day!,

Just One Word…

These are my close up shots of 2 of the 3 cards, please scroll down to view the entire  3 cards!

Whatever type of clean and simple card you make, the sentiment must consist of  ONE WORD only!  Doesn’t that sound easy and fun?  If you can’t find a stamp with just one word, a good way to do this is to mask the unwanted words with a sticky note and then remove the sticky note when you are ready to stamp. It’s that simple!

The butterfly stamp is one of my favorite stamp sets I bought over at Stamp TV. It is called Take Flight. I also made 2 of these cards for an Inspiration Challenge over at Stamp TV.

These cards are for the Less is More week 47 Challenge you can find here.

Have an awesome day,
