Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative!

Eat Sleep and Stamp…

Eat, Sleep, Stamp…and repeat as needed….. LOL  Isn’t that a great title for a blog?  I am thrilled to have found this blog the other night as I was watching TV with hubby.  Am I the only one now that use to be content with just watching TV at night and now feel that I might be missing something very important on either a blog that I follow or on pinterest? So I do both, and here I sit again with a laptop on my lap. 🙂

Anyways, the real reason you stopped by was not to here about my addictions…lol.  This card as I mentioned is for a sketch challenge over at a blog I have never played at before called Eat, Sleep, Stamp!  Please go give the ESS Sketch #162 a try!  I hope its okay with the designer that I replaced the small rectangle with the ribbon!!! :/  Remember, Tracy will choose the most clever, creative, and cute creation from the submissions this week to be the next Sketch Artist.  Your design will also be featured on her blog next week!  Sounds great to me…won’t you join me?  Also, the sponging technique in the middle of this card was inspired by a video over at another site I spend far to much time on…Stamp TV. You can see the video here.  This sponging is fun to do and has limitless possibilities. Thanks Gina K!!

The recipe: Cardstock/ CM and GKD

Stamps:SU-Bitty Basics

Ink: Turquoise, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Prima Flowers, ribbon, brads, pen

Tools: Fiskars victorian cutter, hole punch

  1. Hi Nancy. Beautiful card. I wonder if there is any cure for stamping addictions! lol!
    Regards Florence.

  2. This is gorgeous! Love your take on the sketch. Great color combo, too! So glad you discovered Eat, Sleep, Stamp… it’s my favorite place to find a sketch on Thursdays, and Tracy has been thinking about stopping it. I’m encouraging everyone I know to play each week because I can’t stand the thought of losing it. 😀

  3. Hi Nancy!! Welcome and thank you for playing along with this weeks sketch challenge! I too share your addictions. I usually have my laptop with me and the remote control sitting near by. LOL! I have yet to dive into Pinterst, although it’s becoming more & more difficult. I felt the same way about Facebook too. *wink* I absolutely LOVE what you’ve done with the sketch. The brown & blue color combo are simply beautiful. I especially like the flower and ribbon accent. Thank you again for playing along with the sketch. I hope you will be back again & again!
