Heartfelt!

Oh Happy Day the weekend is getting nearer!

I began this card at my Stampin Up Card Club

 a few weeks back and

didn’t finish it off till recently. I can’t take credit for

all of the design because part of it was from my SU Consultant!

She is brilliant!

I also have already mailed this card to a friend

who has recently lost her brother!

I sure hope it brightened her day!

Butterfly

The ink on the butterfly and script,

was just sponged on very quickly with Sponge Daubers….

very, very easy!  The card appears that it took

a while to put together and it really was

rather quick…even for someone pokey like me!

A little bit more LOVE…

I know Valentine’s Day has come and gone

and you thought you had seen the last of the HEARTS all

over the place, well…..you almost have! I saved one of my special creations

for this week on purpose so that I may share it here and @ the Crafty Card Gallery.

I can not take credit for the idea behind this Valentine Shadow box.

That goes to Debbie Moczek my Fabulous Stampin Up Consultant.

The only thing I can take credit for is the work and the arrangement of the squares.

Although, I did make a few of my squares different then the original design.

Sorry for the glare on the photo!

Shadow box

This was sooooo much fun to put together and she made it so easy too!

I gave it to my dear hubby for Valentine’s Day and

then asked him if I could please hang it up in my studio!  LOL

 I know…what an Indian giver……

but, I thought it would look really nice in there!

Tee Hee!

All products used were Stampin Up!

If you have any questions at all…don’t hesitate to ask!

Have a remarkable day!

Crazy for Textures!

Hello Friends,

Today’s card is all about different textures.

The challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges C4c174 is to incorporate as many

textures in your card as possible.

This card is also my second submission over at Crafty Card Gallery

where I am the host this week. Come visit!

I made a card very similar to this a few weeks ago at my SU Card club and

I loved it so much I decided to duplicate it and change it up a tad.

I adore this SU-Honeycomb embossing folder!  It screams texture!

Thanks so much…

CCG

Hello Friends,

I trust you had a good weekend?

Mine was just perfect…a little of this and a little of that…just the way I like it!

I had time yesterday to play in the studio and this is one of my creations.

The colors are suppose to look more on the teal side but they came out rather blue,

your going to have to just trust me on this one…

They match this week’s Dynamic Duos to a tee!

CASEing someone…

Long time no post, but I am back and Rip Rarring to Go!

Over at Stamp TV this week the challenge was to CASE a fellow Stamp TV member and here were the requirements…

For those of you that are new to the term “CASE”, it means to copy a design of another card maker and give her/him credit when you post it.

We understand that you may not have the exact embellishments, etc. to make an exact copy, but get as close to you can.

The objective is to show appreciation for another STV members card creation.

Here is the Fabulous Card I chose to CASE from the Design Team member Kay!

Case

I enjoyed making this card so much and it was so quick and easy that I decided to make 3!

Here is the first one!

I am also Linking the first one up in this weeks Freshly Made sketch challenge!

Crazy 4 Hearts

Crazy 4 hearts… that’s me lately!

It’s time for another Valentine card!

Today’s card is very, very simple!

DSCN5048

I just used 3 hearts of different sizes!

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy as my 4th graders would say!

Two of them were cut out with my cricut and the small one is a punch I have had for 20 years!

Ran the medium size through my cuttlebug for some texture, add some pop dots, ribbon and that’s it!

The I love you stamp is from Michaels.

Thanks for stopping in,

I am headed back to the couch…home with a fever and Tonsillitis! 😦

Here are the 2 challenges I am linking this to!

Crazy 4 Challenges– Hearts, but no red or pink

and

Addicted to Stamps– Bingo challenge …I used Hearts, stamp, love

See you soon

Nancy

Just Add Hearts

More Hearts?  Yes I am afraid so!  You can never get to much LOVE!

Today’s card is going to look very similar to one I posted earlier in the week.

My co-worker liked her card so much that she asked me to make another

one very similar so that she may frame it.  I was happy to oblige and I thought that was such a compliment!

So if you are thinking you have seen this layout before, well yes you have.

This one is much better, don’t you think?

DSCN5070

Can’t decide if I like the soft edges on my card photo or if I should leave it the way I usually do it.

Your thoughts?

I am linking it up with two challenges.

Just add Ink– “Just Add Hearts.”

and

The Pink Elephant– “Love is in the Air.”

Soft and Subtle…

DSCN5076

JUGS175 DD#39

Over at the Dynamic Duos this week they have a great color palette of “Soft and Subtle.”

This week’s colors are Pink Pirouette and Pool Party. I adore soft colors!

The card was also linked up to a Sketch challenge over at Stamp TV and

a Masking Challenge over at JUGS!

If you don’t know how to/or what the heck masking is, you have to try it!!!

I have also linked up 2 great tutorials from SCS and Stamp TV for you to check out

which will help explain it better!

The bling added to the top off my card was sent to me from Jennie @ Stampin Away the Day.

I felt like I won the lottery when I received the package filled with Bling on Saturday!

Thanks so much Jennie!

Although, I have never met Jennie personally,

she is someone that made me feel so welcome when I first ventured down this road of Stamping,

and I so appreciate her kindness over the years!

Okay, I am off of work today and headed to the doctor to see what’s up with my throat!

Hope you have a great Monday friends,

More Hearts!

Are you a little tired of all the Valentine cards yet?

We have one more week before the Big V- Day!

I will try to post something besides Valentines this weekend.

Today’s card is for Our Creative Corner sketch challenge,

and they titled their challenge, ” Make Mine Mushy”. LOL

I am also linking this card up with the Pink Elephant’s Inspiration Photo challenge.

Even though I didn’t use reds and pinks like the photo,

my thoughts were to mimic the 6 panels like the 6 photos.

My card didn’t photograph as well as I would have liked and it’s a lot

prettier than it appears.  However, I already sold it, so…. not much I can do about that now! 🙂
