Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative!

JUGS Color challenge

Hi Friends…Happy weekend!  Yahoo!!!!

Today my good card lovin friend and fellow DT member VICKI over at JUGS

has a wonderful color challenge for us to try!

Love this color combo!!  And here is what I came up with!

(The coral IRL is not quite that dark orange)

It’s that time of year when I am in the need Graduation Cards

and even though this card doesn’t scream graduation that is what it’s going to be used for!

I used some Washi Tape to make my arrow and that sentiment stamp I have had forever and I

believe it is from Michaels.   Also,  I Love my new Chevron folder from Stampin Up and

I can imagine it’s going to be getting a lot more use!  Finished it off with some twine, buttons and stars.

Now, the rest of the  JUGS team has some wonderful samples to get your inspiration going,

so just hop on over to the Just Us Girls blog, and check out what the Design Team has created for you.

Then put your creative genes to work and add your card/project to the challenge post on the JUGS blog

for the chance to be selected as our Chic of the Week.

Can’t wait to see what you all create!

I got this sketch idea from retro Sketches…..but the link closed before I could post this one! 😦

  1. I saw retro sketch the minute I looked at your card. Sorry you were too late to submit it. And who says graduation cards have to have mortarboards and diplomas on them? I think this is way better.

  2. Gorgeous job with the sketch- bummer yo missed it. You rock it out with the colors~

  3. I love this as a grad card! So many fun things to look at too! Great job with the color challenge!

  4. Wow! This is stunning! Love your subway art stamp!

  5. Very cute Nancy 🙂 LOVE all of those stars!
