Happy Sunday!
Had a little time today to play in my studio and this is what I came up with!
I started off with this great sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch.
Hope it’s okay that my flowers cascaded down a bit!
Paired it up with the CASE Study Challenge #149.
Cutting out those flowers was a little tedious…but while I was doing that
I got to watch my buddy Phil Mickelson win the Scottish Open. WooHoo!
I find when I cut out small intricate items if I leave a white
edge it looks ten times better. Anybody out there agree with me??
I paper pieced part of the birdy too.
Until next time,

I agree with the white edge, Nancy, but I invariably get too close and cut it off. Maybe that’s why I don’t do much fussy cutting.

I’m so glad you took the time to add all those lovely flowers, because they are gorgeous! I agree with leaving a white edge unless I’m doing layers on the same flower 🙂 Oh I love matching dies! Thanks for playing with us over on CASE Study 🙂

Beautiful card, Nancy. 😉 I really love the colors against the black background, and I agree with you about the white edge when fussy cutting things. Great job on answering both challenges – beautifully done! 😉
