Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Monochromatic at Just Us Girls

Over at Just Us Girls this week…the ever so talented Vicki has

challenged us to a great color challenge .  Your card or project must have

a basic  theme of Monochromatic Blue, but you may add a neutral as well.

I had a hectic week back to school this week, so my card is rather simple!

I never have enough masculine birthday cards laying around,

so thanks Vicki for the color choice!

I have had this piece of Design paper forever, and it worked so well for this challenge.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Please jump on over to the JUGS blog and join us this week…we would love to see

what you do with this challenge!  You can stop by my wonderful teammates blogs

and see what they have designed for you as well!

Hope you have an amazing weekend either creatively or how
ever you wish to spend it!

  1. Hi Nancy, I love your card and the other designs on the challenge page. I would really like to take part at some point, but have a couple of queries: Is it ok to do digital cards? and also what is the graphic that I need to include on the post. Thanks 🙂

    • As far as I know it would be fine…I will check with the boss of the blog….and second use the one on the top of my post….I added it late last night! Thanks for stopping by and asking! Have a great day!

      • Ah I see, is it the same logo every week? and thanks for asking for me 🙂

      • Amanda, I am sorry to say the response was a no for digital cards….digital images colored and such is a yes. Your work is stunning though I must say…but the ladies want a card with some stamping on it! 😦 Thanks for asking me and visiting my blog!

      • Thats a shame, I often do digital stamping of course, but I dont do so much of the real thing these days. Ok Nancy, thanks for asking for me anyway, I’ll still enjoy following your lovely posts. x

  2. I love your card! That background paper is perfect…beautiful colors!

  3. WTG – this is a great masculine card!

  4. Great guy card. Love the papers and balloons.

  5. Great use of the EFs and love the vertical sentiment panel.

  6. Perfect masculine card. Love the different textures!!! I have the same square blue cardstock. I love it. Looks fabulous on your card 🙂 ~Sophia

  7. Your BG paper looks like the tiles in my kitchen! GREAT masculine card! LOVE the balloons, Nancy!

  8. YOU are NOT kidding – it’s not just you: there is a WORLD wide epidemic… NOT enough masculine cards, ever! I swear, when I need one in a hurry, I think “I’m going to spend an entire weekend pumping out man-cards!” {Of course, it rarely happens.} Anyway, you’ve inspired me, yet again! THERE is some super delicious use of texture going on here… Not to mention, breath taking application of the color BLUE! Fun, FUN, girlFRIEND!
