Don’t you just love the colors of fall?
As soon as I saw these colors of the latest challenge over at A Mixed Media Color Challenge,
I knew I wanted to find the time to play along.
Luckily today I found the time!
I haven’t produced anything lately that I have been happy with, so when I started
to dive in today…I assumed I would probably have the same outcome.
Luckily, I was wrong! I am happy with this card…..YEAH!!! It’s been far to long
since I have felt that way!!! I’m back….I hope it’s not temporary!!! LOL
Anyhoo, get on with it Nancy!!
Here is where I got my inspiration for my card, I can take credit for the details…not the idea!
Here is the link!
Isn’t it amazing!!!
Here are a couple quick photos that I took along the way.
First I took my Stampin Up watercolor pen and watercolored Calypso Coral on watercolored paper.
I saw my border punch and thought it would make a great stencil. Sure enough did! LOL
Then I added a script and a brick stamp ( which I practically covered up entirely with my flower).
Then I took my Stampin UP large blossom punch and punched a bunch of petals.
I added texture, stamps and embossing to any of them that didn’t have a pattern already
Took some brown stain from hubby’s shed and stained my wooden heart and then added the letters.
The sentiment (thinking and you) is from Close to My Heart.
The rest is pretty straight forward and doesn’t need much explaining.
I am also linking this us pt the watercoloring challenge over at Eclectic Paper.
I have never played along with them before…but love love their products!!!
I have linked it up for you!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
I sure hope I find some more time to create this week, don’t want
to risk loosing my mojo again!
Take care,
Nanc’

Dang Girl, you really knocked this one out of the ballpark. It looks like a tremendous amount of work went into this card, but boy did it pay off. This card is spectacular Nancy! I really love your color palette. I think I’m going to have to do a card with those colors soon.
