Hello Friends,
Spent the day with 3 Talented Crafty girls yesterday and had a wonderful time!
First, we did a craft rummage sale at our local Art Store, I made a whopping 21 dollars…LOL
Next, we went to lunch at this great place by the water in Palmetto
called Riverside Drive Cafe.
Last, what is a get together without a little shopping?
We made a quick stop at Hobby Lobby!
I was thrilled to finally meet one of my fellow DT members from Seize the Birthday too.
JoAnn Burnham, she is as sweet as I thought she would be…NO sweeter!
A while back, JoAnn was kind enough to tell me about Sue Lelli, and after
I stocked her blog for a few weeks, I had the courage to ask her if she would
like to meet for lunch and we talked non-stop like we had known each other forever.
Sue L. has introduced me to Mixed Media and is UBER talented at it!
Susie Morris and I met online at Stamp TV a few years ago and hit it off
right away, she is one of the most generous people I have ever met and
I am so grateful that we crossed paths.
Feeling Blessed!
Anyhoo, onto my card for today!
My blog friend Donna (sure hope to meet her someday, she is to funny)
is hosting a Shabby Chic challenge over at Stamp TV
and time is running out, but I wanted to make sure I
supported her in her GD position over there!
Here is what I came up with!
Forgot the matching envelope! I didn’t have any cream envelopes
so I decided to cover the envelope with the matching DP and added
the sentiment that is also inside the card!
The Design Paper is from Colorbok and is called Wild Rose.
The sentiment is from Gina K and is called Birthday Duo.
I used my Cuttlebug to cut out my doily shape,
my flower stem and my double scallop.
Finished it off with lots of distressing and some embellishments.
Thanks for stopping’ in…I so appreciate all your kind comments and visits!
Until next time,
Nanc’
