Hello Friends,
Hope your having a great day!
This is my second post today so please scroll down if your looking for Just Us Girls!
Over at Stamp TV they have a Guest Designer search and this time they are
asking us to…
Make anything BUT a regular, flat greeting card.
It can be a unique card: like a pop up card, a gift card holder,
a tent topper, or it can be an altered item!
I chose to make a gift basket using one of my all time
favorite Gina K design sets called Hugs and Prayers
(It’s retired by the way…sorry)
and combined it with GKD sentiment from A Little Something stamp set.
I came across this great basket using nestabilities from the talented
Debbie Olson. Of course mine doesn’t look half as good as hers
and I used a different nesty shape then the one she has pictured.
Then, I realized after I had adhered my panels that I forgot to add
the ribbon underneath. Next time!
I also wanted to make my own 3-d flower using a Stampin Up flower blossom punch.
I watched this video here!
I have a few more photos for you so that you can see the process
along with different views.
I leaned it back a little for better lighting!
I have linked up Debbie Olson’s blog for you above so that you may see a real work
of ART. The only dimensions that I changed was for my handle.
My handle is 3/4 wide by 12 inches long.
The paper is from Stampin UP.
I used one of my favorite stems from My Favorite Things.
Used lots of dimensionals too!
Let me know if you have any questions and I hope you
have a wonderful day…thanks for stopping by!
The weather is gorgeous here…going to head outside.

You did a great job on this and I need to give you an award for tackling it. Until Debbie compared it to putting in a sleeve, I would not have gone near this project. But with her and your examples, it is a possibility. You didn’t miss a thing without the ribbon.
Yeah, I am with you about being out of your comfort zone.
