It’s time once again for …
Gina K Inspiration Blog Hop Day 2
I am thrilled to be among some really talented designers and so appreciate all the fun I have had!
Here is what I have done with Rupa Shevde’s Flowers Bloom stamp set!
I used ink, sponge daubers and colored pencils to make this card and of course
my Cuttlebug and Nestabilites! I am still no Theresa Momber when it comes to
scenery backgrounds, but I sure enjoy trying!
I have linked up both these fun stamps sets for you HERE!
This is what I have done with Theresa Momber’s Out West 2 set.
All paper for this card is Gina K also!
The colors aren’t as true as I would have liked in the photo!
You can purchase it HERE!
Aren’t those sets just awesome? I have had so much fun with them!
NOW…..
Please, won’t you hop along with us? We would love it if you would!
I have it all mapped out for you!

The lit path is a very fresh and clever take on this set, Nancy 🙂

Your scenery background card is stunning! Makes me long to see a sunrise/sunset over water! Fabulous.
April 29, 2014 at 10:08 am
Beautiful scene you created on the first one and I like the western theme on the second.
April 29, 2014 at 10:28 am
Nancy, I love how you used the leaves in the flowers bloom set. The sun and the sentiment. It’s beautiful. I love your design and layering with the cowboy, the barbed wire, the stars well, I guess I love it all.. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

i love both of your cards in today’s blog hop! Glad you used a color instead of black for your leaves in the foreground of the octagon card and I love the uncolored simplicity of your cowboy with the grungy background paper-that is my favorite paper in that paper pack.
April 29, 2014 at 10:34 am
I love your cards. I think your little scene is fantastic. And, that western themed masculine type card is wonderful too. I am so excited to see the things everyone does with these new sets as I have ordered both of them.

April 29, 2014 at 3:32 pm

April 29, 2014 at 4:20 pm
Awesome cards, Nancy!
April 29, 2014 at 4:22 pm
wow, I think your scene coloring is fabulous. Love that you left so much white space. Your cowboy card is so darn cute. I can think of several little cowboys that would like that for their birthday. Thanks for the inspiration.
April 29, 2014 at 6:35 pm
Great scene you created with the Flowers Bloom set and I am glad to see the cowboy just inked. I love this set but did not know if I could color the cowboy, but now I know he looks great just stamped.

Your sunrise/sunset card is beautiful and the octagon shape is very pleasing. I like the layout for the bucking bronc rider, too. (I’m sure he thinks he deserves more than two stars for his performance.) TFS
April 29, 2014 at 7:38 pm
Nancy, the scene that you created takes me back to Maui and the view for our deck! Hmmmm! wonderful. The second card is so masculine and love the elements and the layout. This is probably a set that I would not buy, until I saw all of the great cards that were made with them. Great job! Being a designer is not new to you and it shows.
April 29, 2014 at 8:36 pm
These are lovely!

Oh my gosh – your tropical sunset is BRILLIANT, in more ways than one. It’s absolutely STUNNING you talented lady, you!!! I think the reflection of the sun in the water is GENIUS!!! And your Out West card is so awesome – I love, love, love the natural tones and great stamped background! I really, really adore both of these cards!
April 29, 2014 at 9:07 pm
Both are completely lovely cards Nancy! I love your ocean scene, esp since you used a mask to create the shaped scene. I also love the western card and the creative way you built up the background – any guy would love that! Very best wishes!
April 29, 2014 at 10:12 pm
Nancy, I love both of our cards. The scene and sentiment are so pretty. Of course I love the western set and your card. So many cowboys in our family. 🙂

Your ocean scene card is so peaceful! Love the reflection in the water and your cowboy card is very masculine. Loving the colors on that one. Well done!
April 30, 2014 at 10:00 pm
I like the cowboy in the oval. Don’t think I would have thought to do that, but I like it. Beautiful water scene. Love the colors and the plants in the front. Nicely done!
