Hello Friends,
Things have been a little quiet here in blogland due to my BIL passing away unexpectedly.
So, a quick trip to Tennessee and now we are settling in back at home.
My hubby is a trooper and handles things so much better than I. Love you honey!
It was great to see family, but next time I want it to be for a more happy occasion.
It took me a few days to find my mojo and I finally have something for you that
I am willing to share. 😉
PLEASE READ to better Explain my Inspiration! 🙂
The inspiration for my card all started with this great Tag over at
Tag You’re it Challenge! You may not think by the looks of my card
that that is where it came from but your just going to have to trust me. LOL
I sure don’t expect to win since I really stretched the envelope,
but I sure want to acknowledge this great new and
very cool challenge site that I am really excited about!
Check out this great tag!
I tried to replicate the transition of colors by scoring my tag and then
inking it up carefully so the scored lines would still show.
Then I heat embossed my leaves to replicate her vellum ones.
My small tags at the top replicate the small tag on Laura’s.
The flowers are from Stampin UP and my sentiment is all Verve!
One of my flowers is also heat embossed on Vellum.
I am also going to enter this over at Curtain Call where they are
celebrating their 1ST Anniversary with an
Anything Goes challenge along with some fabulous prizes!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by…I so appreciate all your support
in this wonderful hobby of mine!
Take care!

Nancy individual inspiration comes from what moves you when presented with a catalyst, in this case Laura’s gorgeous tag. Love your interpretation. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Tag You’re It!

Sorry about your BIL. You have my sympathy. But I must say I love the beautiful card you created. It is gorgeous in the blues.

I love reading how others interpret the inspiration photos. I have a tendency to stick too close to the actual card and it’s great to see how you took the tag and made it your own. Wonderfully, I might add.
