Hello friends, It’s Saturday and it’s time for our new challenge at Just Us Girls! Sharyn is hosting our Color Week and she has some really great bold colors for us. Turquoise, Red and Gold, and remember you can always add some neutrals too. I was a little pushed for time this week so I had to do something clean and simple. I just adore this die cut from MFT and not sure if you can tell, but the the red flower is the negative of the gold card stock. I just mounted the red on the inside front of the card and saved the gold flower to use on something else later. The sentiment is from Verve in the So Happy stamp set. I am not sure it’s available anymore as I couldn’t locate it on their site. The turquoise crochet lace is something I picked up at Michaels and I stumbled upon it after I had already adhered the paper strips to the card and thought…why not add it as well.
I so appreciate you stopping in today and Remember…..If your chosen as our Chic of the Week over at Just Us Girls you will become eligible to possibly be one of our Guest Designers in the month of January! Good luck and hope to see you over there! Nanc’

Beautiful and very comforting! Love those beautiful die cut flowers and the way you used the negative, too. That turquoise lace is gorgeous and pairs up beautifully with the die cut borders. This certainly doesn’t look like you were pressed for time!

This is so pretty, Nancy! I love the way you designed your cone flowers! And I really got a kick out of the way the strip of beautiful turquoise lace came to be added. When stuff like that happens to me, I feel like my cards are making me, I’m not making the cards! In your case, that serendipity moment worked perfectly for your card!! Hugs, Darnell
