I am back today with a really quick Thank You card that my hubby asked for me to make for him. I am a little embarrassed to post this as I was short on time this week and I am not in love with it at all. My dad is still requiring some extra care and I haven’t quite figured out how to squeeze much stamping time in as of yet. We all know that family comes first so please forgive me for this not so lovely card. The stamp set is from Stampin Up and is called Stippled Blossoms. The bold thank you is from Heidi Swapp. The sentiment and the background paper is both navy blue. I did take my SU watercolor brush and oh so very lightly watercolor the inside of the flowers to give them some depth using SU ink. Please come on over to Just Us Girls and see what the rest of the team and our Guest Designer Judy has done with our color challenge. I promise they did a much better job then I did. Remember if you are chosen as our Chic of the Week you will be in the running as a possible Guest Designer in the future. Hope to see you there! Nanc’

I really Like the simplicity of this card. Great palette and composition. Take it easy on yourself! Great instincts prevailed.

Can’t see why you aren’t happy with this, I love it! The arrangement of those pretty flowers with that bold sentiment is beautiful and I am sure the recipient is going to love it as well.

What do you mean. I like with card. What you have done with the colors is so different. Hope that our Dad is better or at least you are a comfort to him. Sending an email about our visit. I hope we can work it out.

We are always most critical of ourselves, Nancy. I think your card looks fine. I totally understand about time slipping away. Even though my folks are in a care facility, I still visit a number of times a week. It’s been over a week since I made a card and I really wanted to do the JUGS stencil one last week.
