Hello Friends, I have a rather quick post for you today, using one of the latest stamp sets from Stampin UP. It’s called Sheltering Tree and I love the set and it’s a re-make of one of the very first Stampin Up sets I ever purchased called Branching Out. I was fortunate enough to go to a class a few Saturdays ago with a good friend of mine and make some really fabulous cards. I cannot take credit for the complete design of this card as there was a sample from the demonstrator that we were asked to follow. I did change mine up a bit, I had to be different. LOL As you can see I did a terrible job stamping my swing. Grrrrrrrr. I hate when I fudge up a card when I am nearly done.
Anyhoo, I hope you decide to join us this time over at Seize the Birthday ….where we have an Anything Goes Birthday challenge starting today! It goes for nearly two weeks so you have plenty of time! My teammates are so talented! Come by and check it out!
See you there!

I really like this scene you created. Perfect look to your birthday card. Gorgeous colors too.

Very pretty. I like the bicycle and flowers along with the tree. Very springy.
I know the feeling about messing up when your card is almost done. Just take the matching marker and touch up the swing rope, no one will know the difference. 🙂

This is a delightful little scene, Nancy, and if you hadn’t mentioned the swing, we wouldn’t have known the difference.

This is so cute! I saw this sweet set in a Stampin’ Up catalog and thought the tree was pretty special. Love the beautiful scene you have created. Nicely done!
