Hello Friends, It’s time for a new challenge over at Seize the Birthday and the topping this time around is to use the negative. I love my new Lawn Fawn set and I realize I just used the sun on my last post, I sure hope you don’t mind seeing it again. I can’t take credit for the design of this card, I CASED one of my FAVORITE designers Tracey McNeeley, I fell in love with her card as soon as I came across it! You will see it below! Overlapping the sun and the cloud I think is a cool effect! As I said, the clouds and sun are from Lawn Fawn and the Happy is Stampin Up. The Birthday is a stamp from Hero Arts. I love how easy it was to inlay the sun into the negative piece of cardstock. I will definitely be doing this again.
I wonder if Tracey knows how much she has inspired me in the card making journey? If you aren’t familiar with her or her work, here is her blog. In My Creative Opinion, and HERE is a direct link to this post. Please come on over to STB and join us. My Design Team has done an amazing job with this challenge, come on over and have a look! Have a wonderful day! Nanc’

Great looking card design and a good way to use the negative of the cloud too. Love the dimension in that idea.

It’s easy to be inspired by Tracey. You’ve done a great job CASEing her card, Nancy, yet making it your own.

That is a FUN set (I have something similar from MFT, not sure I cared too much for it til I saw your card!) 😉 It’s a pretty cool technique you’ve done there!
