Happy Memorial Day Weekend Friends, I hope you are enjoying yourself! Today’s card is for the inspiration photo over at The Card Concept. I have been eyeing this challenge for about a week now, and finally had a chance last night to put something together. I decided right away that I wanted to try and heat emboss my woodgrain background stamp and see if I would like it. I must say, I think it came out great! The beautiful daisies and leaves were made with a Sizzix die that a friend of mine asked if I was interested in purchasing from her. Boy am I glad she asked, I LOVE them both! I added some white dots with a gel pen and not sure I should have! Hmmmm….what do you think? I think my style for this card would be Clean and Layered. The sentiment is a Verve set called Heartfelt Phrases that I find myself using a lot. I bet this month I have mailed out about 20 cards for various occasions! My stock is the lowest it has ever been, but summer is around the corner so hopefully I will have some time to replenish it.
Well, that is all for me today! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Nanc’
