Hello Friends, I have a quick post of you today! I have been eyeing two posts this week, the first is the Tag You’re It challenge where they have this adorable tag to inspire you (seen below) and the second is the Mod Squad challenge where my friend Barbara wants us to make a gate-fold card. Not sure why I don’t make these more often, love the look of them. I think these two challenges worked well together! I have a basket on my desk in my studio of newly acquired stuff, and this cute little giraffe has been poking his head out and staring me down for quite sometime now, so I finally obliged and got him inky. Do you have your new stuff out somewhere in your creative space so that you don’t forget about it? Or is this something only this crazy lady does? I am curious!
Here are a few details and then I have to run! Grass- MFT, Specs are SU- from a retired Branching Out set, sentiment is from Verve’s- Love Notes set.
Here is a photo of the card opened so you can tell it is indeed a gate-fold card.
It’s my (Milestone) Birthday today 50 YIKES and hubby and I are going to spend the day in Sarasota having lunch with our son Tyler, then hang out at a gorgeous Marina, and then meet back up with Ty after he gets out of work and go out for drinks and dinner too. This is just so stinking cute Nancy! The idea to put a tag on the front of a gate fold is one that I will want to remember. I love tags on cards, but never thought to use them this way. Thanks for joining us in the Mod Squad Challenge this week. You know that I really appreciate it.

Yes, my new stuff is sitting on my desk. Mostly they are waiting for me to file them away with my other stamps but, all the same, they stare at me and cause guilt-ridden dreams because I haven’t had a chance to ink them up yet. Sigh – someday! So glad you had a chance to use some of your new stuff. This is adorable! Gate fold cards are so fun and when you can add a tag? Bonus!!
