Hello Friends, Today over at Seize the Birthday our topping option is Splatter. I absolutely love adding a bit or a lot (as above) of splatter on my cards. Who would have thought something so simple and fun could add so much interest! I am also happy to announce a new feature that we are starting over at Seize the Birthday! Every month we are going to be asking a Surprise Party Guest to be joining us. Our first Inaugural Surprise Party Guest is going to be Anita in France.
I have her blog linked up for you HERE!! Welcome Anita! I am so thrilled to have you with us this month! Please won’t you stop by STB and Anita’s blog and have a look around and leave her some love along the way!
Now here are a few details about my card: My talented hubby made me a Superman stencil that all I had to do is trace and cut out with an xacto knife. The Happy Birthday is from Verve’s Poppy Birthday set. The other sentiment was computer generator. This card was made for a very dear friend of mine that has been battling cancer for two years. Battle is a huge understatement! He will never kick the cancer unfortunately and will be on chemo the rest of his life, but he isn’t going down without a fight that is for sure. He is truly a Superhero in my book and one of the most generous and sweetest persons in the world. He turned 60 on Saturday and hubby and I and some of his closest friends surprised him with a dinner party. I pray this card made him feel loved! Thanks for stopping by, I really do appreciate it! That is so cool! Kids of all genders would like that especially since there is a new show called Super Girl coming out. Perhaps all ages even might get a kick from it.
