Just in the nick of time, I might add.  I have had this awesome vinyl polka dotted paper for a very long time and so glad I finally put it to use.  I used my Creative Memories hexagon punch and the sentiment is from Verve. I was finished with the card, and about to take my photo, when I thought the flowers needed a little more pop.  That is when I decided to add the dots and I am glad I did.

Hope you come on over to Just Us Girls and join us.  Ina the hostess, and the Design team, along with our Guest Designer Julie seemed to have no problem with the photo. Come on over and have a look.  Who knows you may get selected as our Chic of the Week!

Happy Creating,  Nanc’

  1. I am with you on this one. I would have to struggle to make a card from the photo. But, this design really does it. You got the hexagon shapes in and the colors too. Nice touch to put in the dots. Think I will go over and look at what the others did, I am courteous.

  2. Cute card. I like the hexagon flowers and the dots do add to them.
Hope you are feeling better my friend.

  3. Well, I love your happy polka dot design. Fun colors too!

  4. Awesome card. I love the hexagon look. And, wonderful colors too. Adding the dots really made them look more like flowers too!

  5. This reminds me of a ‘Grandmother’s Flower Garden” quilt, Nancy. Minus the dots of course. 😉

  6. I am so sorry I made this hard for you Nancy. I think I did that to myself also. Love the effect you got with your dotted hexagons. Thanks for giving it a go and you have created such a lovely fresh card. I’m all DOTTY now.

  7. Love those hexagon flowers! The fun polka dots with the added dots are fantastic. Love how the photo inspired you.

  8. Well, you would never know that you struggled with this photo from this cute card! Love the polka dot hexagon “flowers”- what a brilliant idea!! I have enjoyed designing with all of you this past month- hugs and God Bless!
