Hello Friends, Today’s card is for Trend Week over at Just Us Girls. Sue has asked us to incorporate metal on our card and or project. As I was photographing my card I realized there is NO stamping on this card whatsoever. OOPS!!! That might be a first for me, I usually at the very least stamp the sentiment. Anyhoo, As I tried to figure out what the heck I was going to do for this challenge I came across these old brads…remember brads??? They use to be so popular and then poof…they aren’t anymore. I on the other hand, still use them on occasion and still have quite a variety in my stash. Do you still use brads on your cards? I also wanted to use my SIL Cameo to print out my you. I wanted to print it in a script, but my machine or the operator wasn’t having it. The paper kept ripping when I tried to get it off the mat. After I went through an entire piece of cardstock (SU non the less, so not cheap crap) I threw in the towel and went for bold letters instead. They came out perfectly. I guess this girl needs a little more practice. The little hearts were made from a punch and the cardstock is also SU.
I am linking this card up with the the latest Sketch over at Freshly Made. I thought it was so unique and I knew I wanted to use it!
Hope you have a fantastic day and if you have sometime this week join us over at JUGS! You don’t have to use brads like me…..you can use foil papers, charms and or embossing powders. We have 2 great Guest Designers with us and the team has done a wonderful job too.
Take care, Nanc’

I love the banner wrap effect that you have on this card. Placed up high like that, it is very attractive. You have a head start on your valentine cards, with these colors and sentiment. I find that I am often leaning toward more dies, and less stamping. Wonder what that means? We are love it here in Naples. Do you feel like planning a lunch?

You never cease to amaze me with the variety of styles in your cards each week. Love this one with all those elements to look at and those brads are perfect. Funny how they have gone out of favour leaving us with a plentiful supply. I just happened to use one recently lol. A true masterpiece here Nancy.
