Hello Friends, I had some time last night to get creative, and when the time presents itself you have to take advantage of it. I needed a thinking of you card for a dear friend that was diagnosed with cancer, and if that isn’t bad enough she already has MS. It breaks my heart! She has the kindest heart of anyone I know, so I hope this card cheers her up just a little. In the past month alone, I have needed 5 cards for friends with cancer! 😦 Makes you realize that you need to count your blessings each and everyday!
I pulled out my prisma colored pencils and went to work, after I found this great Color Combo over at the ColourQ. I also used one of my favorite stamps from Stampin Up called Love is Kindness. I did in fact use a silver prisma colored pencil to shade the newspaper…so I hope it still qualifies for the challenge.
I hope you are having a terrific day! Mine has started very well! I went to breakfast with my sister and a dear friend, and squeezed in a bit of shopping too! Take care, Nanc’

I just love this shade of green and blue together. So beachy and coastal! That image of the tulips is very inviting and comforting. A great interpretation of the challenge.

I’m sorry you have had to make so many of this type of card lately, Nancy, but I’m sure this one will delight your friend and let her know how much you care.
