Hello Friends, I hope this Monday is finding you well! Over the last couple weeks I have been making Christmas cards. I challenged myself in January to make 4 Christmas cards a month from January till November, all I can remember from last year is it felt like I was climbing a mountain, having to need them all so quickly. Well, January was a good start and I will leave it at that. LOL I am happy to report that I am nearly back on track an only need a few more by months end. The above card is one of the ones I actual made yesterday. I know this die set from SU( Hearth and home) is from last year’s release and all over Pinterest, but would you believe I have had it since then and not used it? I adore the brick EF from SU as well. It so much fun to ink up with a brayer. I have a piece of acetate on my window, but it doesn’t show up in the photo. Instead of using the Stamp set (Snowy Scenes) that goes with this die, I decide to cut out a tree with card-stock using my Cameo and then spattered it with some white paint. Prior to that I sponged a nice sky background and cut out a rolling hill with a Lawn Fawn die. The greeting is from the above SU set and the leaves were made with a MS punch. The bow is an awesome die from Paper Smooches.
I am linking this card up to two challenges: Mod Squad where it’s Christmas in July and Merry Monday where they are currently on break but have left the linky open so we can play with some of the past challenges we have missed. I am using challenge #202 Let is Snow.
Have a great day! Nanc’
