Hello my faithful friends, It’s Saturday and time for our next challenge over at Just Us Girls! Sue is our hostess and she has come up with a Trend that is very popular right now. Pineapples…they are literally popping up everywhere. Have you noticed? I myself don’t own a single pineapple stamp so I had to get creative. I took my Striped Scallop Thinlit die from Stampin Up turned it upside down and used it as a stencil to make my pineapple skin. (Seen below) Then I took my leaf stamp from Beautiful Day from Altenew and stamped quite a few leaves on white card stock and fussy cut them out to make my stem. The little flower accent was made with a MS punch. The (very cool) sun background paper behind the sheet of SU vellum was made with the Let It Shine set from Verve, along with the sentiment. I wish you could see how pretty that vellum paper is. It’s from Stampin UP and is covered with flowers and leaves. I guess you will have to trust me!
I think that about wraps it up! If you have a pineapple stamp or any type of pineapple supply for that matter, that you are just itching to use, or you could totally do what I did and be creative with what you have… please come on over to JUGS and join us! Take care, Nanc’

I have not notice pineapples, but that may just be me. You certainly are creative here! Love how you were able to make a pineapple. The sign of the pineapple is a welcome if used on your front door. Did you know that?

Cute card and very creative. I like how you made the pineapple.
Glad you are doing o.k. and that we didn’t get any of that hurricane.
Prayers for the people on the east coast.

You were creative indeed, Nancy. I found a tiny stamp so never though beyond that. Your die worked beautifully as a stencil and those leaves are perfect.

OMGosh! You are so clever! That die was the perfect “stencil” to use to create the body of the pineapple! Lovely card Nancy!

We all agree ‘how clever you are’ Nancy using that die as a stencil for your pineapple card. Turned out just fabulously and all that fuzzy cutting – great job. Love the background too.
