screen-shot-2016-10-01-at-7-57-51-pmHello Friends,  I am hosting this week at Just Us Girls and it’s Word Week and the word I have for you is super easy!  The word is trees! I had so much fun making this card I decided to make two!

Here are a few details! The tree you probably recognize as I have used it in years past…it’s a die from my school.  I took silver textured paste and a SU stencil and made my stars stand out 3 dimensional on the trees. Then the trees sat on my work station in my studio for weeks before I knew what I wanted to do with them. Finally, I had an epiphany and finished them off.  The die cut bow is from Lawn Fawn, the Tag dies are from who knows where…probably Nestabilites, and the Sentiment is from Verve. I used a heart punch for the base of the trees.

I would also like to Welcome our next Guest Designer Theresa Gregory to the team, as she will be with us this month!

I am finished with all my Christmas cards….Yipeee!!!! However if I find sometime, I plan on making a few more just in case.  If you are stamping over the next week, please… oh please join us at JUGS!  I would love if you did!  Take care, Nanc’

  1. This is the most “Christmasy” Christmas Card that I have ever seen. The traditional colors and the tree are awesome. Very fun and cheerful card. I love it. I am jealous that you got your cards done. I am right on your heels, and should be done today. but I feel a few more that I may have to make. Just for fun.

  2. Such a cute tree. Love the silver stars scattered over the tree. Glad you are done with your cards. I am working on mine. 🙂
    Have a great weekend.

  3. Your tree cards are so pretty!

  4. I like how the tree goes off the paper in the first one, Nancy. I also like how you put the sentiment on a label. Great cards.

  5. So cute and so traditional. Love your layout.

  6. Love this Nancy. Such pretty pattern papers to frame that sweet Christmas tree.

  7. Love the red and green and that fun tree! Very pretty cards!

  8. This is adorable! I love those textured, sparkly stars scattered over your tree. I really like the mix of patterns on your background, too.

  9. Wow, I love this design. Great way to pop the tree up above the card front, and that ribbon on top is just the bomb! Well done!
