Script or Text Background

Hello Friends, It’s so nice to be back in the groove of things and being creative again.  Not only am I stamping, but I am also working on wedding preparations again and it feels good. I really love how this card came out!  The turquoise and red are heat embossed with some really bold embossing powder.  Also, if you have never used Nuvo drops before…you need to run out and get yourself some! LOVE THEM!!!!!

Okay, we have a topping of Script or Text over at Seize the Birthday for the next two weeks and the team and our Surprise Party Guest Becca have really done an incredible job! I would love for you to come on over an check out what they have done and join us!  Hope you have a great day! Nanc’

A Birdy Birthday!

Hello Friends,  My life is back to somewhat “normal” and I am sure happy about that! If I never see another storm like Irma…. it will be way too soon!  However, we surely dodged a major bullet this time around and for that I am forever grateful! My heart goes out to all that have been impacted by all the horrific storms, and fires over these past few months around the world.  It sure makes me appreciate the small inconvenience of no power and no AC over the last 9 days. Onto a happier subject!  Today over at Just Us Girls it’s Photo Week and as soon as I saw the pic Ina picked out, I knew what stamp set I was going to use.  It’s from Darcie’s.com.  Cutting out a half circle with a die was rather tricky. Here is the card that inspired me! The background was made with Oxide inks and the bird was colored with Colored Pencil.

Hello friends, I’m writing this post on my phone which is not something I’m use to at all!  I have no power at home still…thanks to Hurricane Irma, but happy to see that I must have suspected this as my post was started with my photo already uploaded!

Birthday Flyby!

Hello Friends,  It’s Thursday and time for another great Topping at Seize the Birthday.  What we have for you this time is Balloons.  Works perfectly for a Birthday Challenge blog don’t you think? As I am writing this post, I have no idea what my life is going to be like in less than 24 hours.  I am currently in the path of Hurricane Irma and to say I am worried would be entirely TRUE! So I thought I would take a break from the fretting and news watching and get my post ready early, just in case I have no power on Thursday. I sure hope that is the only issue I am dealing with by then.  Anyhoo….Enough of that!

Block Watercolor Stamping!

Hello Friends,  I am going to make this short and sweet as there is a Hurricane headed in my general direction and her name is Irma incase you haven’t heard it a million times already! We have a very cool Trend this week at JUGS and I sure hope you join us. Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

 

 

Hello Friends,  I thought I would take a break from Wedding party favors and play along with a new (to me) challenge site I stumbled upon the other day. It’s called Tic Tac Toe Challenge and they have two teams, the X’s and the O’s.  How cute and clever is that! The row I chose to play along with is the middle row; pattern paper, flower and coloring. The stamps set is one from SU that I absolutely adore and will never go out of style!

Shoes!

Hello Friends,  We have a fun word this week over at Just Us Girls.  The word is Shoes! Unlike last week, I actually had a stamp set in mind right away when I saw this challenge. LOL  The stamp sets I used are from Verve.  I would also like to welcome Linda to the JUGS team this month, as our new guest. YEAH!! I had the pleasure of meeting Linda in person a couple of years ago while in Seattle and she is such a sweet heart and so very talented!  Linda, I am so happy to have you joining us this month!
