One More Christmas Card..

Hello Friends,  Here is one more Christmas card to wrap up 2017!  It’s just a couple of days till Christmas and I am nearly ready! Have a few gifts to wrap and a bit more cooking and I will be done. This Christmas is going to be low key and we are going to focus on Family and Friends, which is the most important of all. Tyler and Sandra will be hopefully getting in on Christmas Eve if weather and flights don’t interrupt their plans. They have to split their time between families, so I have to be patient and see them when I can. So Christmas morning they will not be with us, and hubby and I might just have to head to the beach or something, so we aren’t sad.  We shall see. This is all new to me, so I have to learn to adjust. Anyhoo, that is enough of me rambling.

This card came together really quickly! Emboss resist with this terrific tree stamp that I have had forever and some sparkly SU paper and some pearls. The sentiment is from Verve I think…but I can’t swear to it!

I am linking my card up over at Muse Christmas Visions!

I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas however you choose to spend it!  Thanks so very much for all your support and kindness this year, it’s totally appreciated more than you know!  Can’t wait to see how this terrific hobby evolves in 2018!  The people I have met, and the friendships that have come from it, makes it so rewarding!  The best part of Christmas is all the handmade cards that adorn my home!  I love them the best of ALL!!!!

Hugs, Nanc’

A Christmas Reindeer

DSC_0074

MM270Hello and Happy First Day of Christmas Break!  Woohooo! I have another sweet Christmas card for you today for the Merry Monday Challenge.  This time for their Tic Tac Toe board, I have used the diagonal line of-Red, Ribbon or Twine, and Emboss. I chose to use my SU snowflake EF for the embossing this time. The idea for this card was inspired by this adorable card I found over on Pinterest, and not my original design. The Wink of Stella I put on my snowflakes turned the centers pink and I am not sure why. I am still not a master colorer by no means, but I still think the card came out cute!

It’s time to clean the house and do some more baking! Nanc’

Card Details; Vellum and a SU Snow Embossing folder, Rudolph is from Inakadinkado, the sentiment is Verve, the banner die is from SU, the stitched snow hills are from Lawn fawn, the Snowflakes are a MS punch, the small banners are MFT.

One Card-Two Challenges!

Hello Friends,  I have one more day of School and then Hello Christmas Break!  I can’t wait! Today’s card is one that I really enjoyed putting together! I started off with this Fabulous stamp from Stampin Up.   I borrowed this gorgeous stamp from a dear friend of mine, but sadly it’s no longer available.  It heat embosses so beautifully, especially with my WOW glittery embossing powder.  I decided I wanted to make this card for a dear friend of mine who loves purple, so that is where my inspiration went. I just love the snowflake punch from MS and those Scalloped Die cuts from MFT!

I am linking my card up over at Merry Monday, where they have a Tic Tac Board and I have chosen the middle row- Stamping, Patterned Paper and Emboss.

I am also linking up to the Muse Christmas Visions where it’s Any Holiday Card.

I hope you are having a terrific week and are enjoying opening up all your Christmas cards as much as I am!  I need no gifts… as these fabulous handmade cards are gifts alone!

Hugs, Nanc’

Another Holiday Card

Hello Friends,  I have another holiday card to share with you today that goes along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I selected the center row which is, Holiday, Die-cut and Metallic.  I have embossed this great tree stamp from Stampendous with some of my fabulous Glittery Embossing Powder from WOW, I just love this stuff. The snowflakes are a punch from MS.  The scalloped die is from MFT. The glittery paper is from SU.  This card looks so much better IRL.

Have a fabulous day, it’s time to get back to baking! Nanc’

Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Hi Friends,  I have another Christmas card for you today. I have had this poinsettia from Heartfelt Creations laying on my desk all glittered up for weeks and I finally got around to putting it to some use. Here are a few details; The sentiment and the leaves are from Verve. I also had some left over gold paper from the wedding, that I thought would look lovely on a Christmas card. The tag paper is from who knows where. The sentiment is heat embossed in gold along with some fun gold Nuvo drops for accents.

I am linking my card up to Stamp Ink Paper where they have a fabulous color challenge going on!

Hope you are having a truly wonderful day! Nanc’

Do you have your Christmas cards done yet?  Well as of today I do, and boy oh boy does it feel good! I have some of my favorite cards that I sent out photographed and ready to share with you over the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned! The above card is being linked up over at Muse Christmas Visions where it’s Any Holiday Card all month long!  I just stumbled upon this site not that long ago! I wish you could see how sparkly my poinsettia is, but sadly it didn’t photograph well.

The stamps are from Verve and colored with Prisma Colored pencils.

Have a fabulous day! Nanc’

Reindeer Games…

Hello Friends, I hope you are having a good start to the week! I wanted to share with you the card I made for the Fusion Card Challenge Inspiration Photo.  I just love the color combo of Kraft and Red together, so I knew right away I wanted to play along. I had intended to follow the sketch as well, but somehow I lost focus and added too many additional layers. Please tell me you do that too? I just adore this little Rudolph stamp that I colored with Copics. Then I decided I would frame him in and have him playing in a snow bank.  I thought my strips of added paper did a good job with the gingham you see all over the photo. Some sparkly snowflakes, Nuvo drops, and a Verve sentiment and I was all done.

Thanks for checkin’ on me and have a wonderful day!

I am back to the studio, as I need about a dozen more cards! Nanc’

Merry Monday Times 3!

When I saw the colors that Colleen chose over at Merry Monday I knew I had to take the time to play along! I had so much fun with these colors that I couldn’t stop. I think the one I showcased up top came out the best, but here are the other two as well.

The supplies are a mix and match of this and that.  The ornaments and sentiments are all Verve.  The two trees are stamps I picked up at a LSS. I started off sponging my backgrounds with some various inks and then did some heat embossing. All Christmas cards need a little shimmer so I used some silver glitter paper too!

I sure appreciate you stopping by, Hope your day is completely fabulous! Nanc’
