Hi there, I decided to try and partake in The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge once again with Kathy Racoosin, and to get out my neglected Copics and practice again. I am coming into this challenge this time around with more realistically expectations, and am going to see how well I do. After all, It’s the first day of Summer Vacation for me, and I now have the time to do it, or at least no excuses not to try. I have also hooked up with my friend Michele over at I card Everyone and we are going to encourage one another to do as many as we can. We had a great conversation this morning by phone and she is just as sweet as I imagined she would be.
I first decided to find a color challenge to help determine what I was going to color, and I went right to the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog and found this great color palette. I must say, my purple might not qualify as it looks rather pink in the photo, but I had fun just the same. I decided it get out my all time favorite MFT stamp set: PI- Fun in the Sun. Since Copics and I have a love hate relationship, I finished up the shading on my image with some Prisma colored pencils. Next, I got out some of my new Washi Tape that I picked up at Michaels last weekend and made this fun background. My inspiration for this card was found here.
I used my MFT-Wonky Rectangles to cut out my backdrop and sentiment and added some colorful enamel dots and I was done.
If you love to color, why not join me in this challenge! I have the site linked up for you! Take care, Nanc’

I keep thinking I’m going to do the 30 day challenge too, Nancy, and then things get in the way, which is crazy since I color almost every day anyway. Your Copic coloring looks great on that little sun-bathing girl and you’re not the only one who sometimes uses pencils for shading and details. Oh not me. I don’t even have Copics but I’ve read it somewhere.
