Splash Watercolouring

Hello,  Had some fun making these great backgrounds for the July CAS Watercolour Challenge.  The challenge was to use Splash Watercolouring on your project. This technique is always so fun and the results are generally good.  I can’t say I have never ended up with a muddy mess before… but haven’t we all! LOL. I have had these cute little Whales colored and on my desk for a couple of weeks now, and it was about time I got them back in the ocean where they belong.  The were colored with both Copics and Prismas.

I decided to get out my MFT wave die and cut up the fun background I created. The clouds are from SU. The stamp set is from Sunny Studios and called Oceans of Joy.  I am a bit addicted to my Wonky Rectangles from MFT if you haven’t noticed. I added some clear Nuvo drops but they are hard to see.

I am also going to link my card up over at CAS Mix UP Card Challenge ( thanks to Nancy L.), where they have asked us to Color our die cuts, stamping and your choice. Hopefully mixing both watercolors, copics and colored pencils will do the trick.

Below is the other card I made as well. I decided to leave the watercoloured panel alone for this card.

Do something creative every day! Nanc’
