We have a great fall photo for your inspiration this week at Just Us Girls. I was in the need for a Sympathy card this week so I decided to see if I could pull off combining this challenge with that type of card. Not sure I love it, but it will have to do. I also used one of my very first Stampin Up stamp sets called Branching Out for this card. The colors are a bit muted as I used Distress Oxide Inks, and kinda wish I hadn’t in hind sight. I added some splatters and some fun glass beads. The sentiment is from Verve!

Such a gorgeous background – sympathy cards are always so tough to make but this one is really amazing and will be very comforting to the recipient – AWESOME!

The Oxides work beautifully, Nancy, and I love the leaves blowing in the wind. It’s a lovely sympathy card without being too somber.

Well I love this card. I need to make a stash of sympathy cards and I think I will just CASE this one. Thanks for the inspiration.
