Hello, Hope you are having a great day! If you were in the path of Hurricane Michael, I hope you are safe and with minimal damage. Mother nature isn’t being kind lately and I hope it stops very soon. It breaks my heart to see the devastation it left behind. Feeling very blessed as I write this post. Other than some rain and gusty winds, all was well here on the west coast of Florida. I am sending this card to my son ( whom I adore and miss, more than you can even imagine) and I can’t say exactly why I am sending this card, but I hope he doesn’t happen to check my blog before he receives it. You will have to trust me that it looks even better in person. I had so much fun creating my celestial background with my oxide inks, starting with a piece of white card stock. It was a ton of blending!! The letter dies are from MFT and the “so proud of” is from SU. That wooden moon stamp is something I have had for eons and is white heat embossed. The stars were heat embossed too and made with a SU stencil as well. Some splatters, and I was done.
Please come on over to Just Us Girls and check out my fabulous teams designs! Nanc’

That is a neat moon stamp, Nancy. The inking and splatters fit well with the stenciled stars.

Nancy, what a great card for your son. Tyler is going to love it. Your celestial sky with the moon is awesome. So glad you were not in the hurricane’s way.

Crushing over the lovely galaxy you’ve created; using coloured card-stock didn’t even cross my mind! Adding that to my ‘do’ list, because the results are amazing! Your son will adore this, as do I! As for the ‘reason’ you’re sending it to him: deep love!
