Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Hello,  Hope you’re having a great day!  I finally had a chance to join in the fun over at the Twofer Challenge. The word they have for us this month is Wreath. I just got a a new stamp set this week from Stampin Up called Wishing You Well, and I couldn’t wait to ink it up. I needed a Thank You card for a colleague at work and also wanted to get back to making some Christmas cards, so that is where my intentions began. The Christmas card sentiment die on sparkly red, SU, card stock is from a dear friend of mine. The tiny red berries were hole punched and placed by hand along with the sequins. The bow die is from Paper Smooches.  For the Thank You card, the fabulous bow and dainty flowers are also from the same SU set and the wonky rectangles are from MFT.  The sentiment is also a go to of mine from a different SU set as well. Some added sequins and I was done.

Below, I have both the cards photographed for you separately as I struggled with that when they were together.  Have a great day! Nanc’

  1. I adore that holiday card with the cute bow and all of the special hand added elements. I’m sure it sparkles a lot. I need to get out the sentiment die now. Your thank you card is amazing and that bow is so cute too. That background is super. Love them both and you were able to get different looks with the same dies. (dear friend) lol

  2. Two amazingly lovely cards using that wreath design. They are fantastic looking.

  3. These are both lovely designs, Nancy! I really like how you made that wreath match the awesome pp in the background on your thank you card and I love the stitched panel sediment and pretty bow! Your Christmas card with the triple wreath, flowing sediment, and schparkly bow is sensational! You are very patient to place all the berries and sequins so meticulously, but it was well worth the effort!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #11! Hugs, Darnell

  4. Oh so pretty, and that triple wreath design is absolutely brilliant! It’s a wonderful, sparkly, and happy Christmas card. Your thank you card is quite lovely, as well. Love the pretty little flowers and the patterned paper you’ve chosen for the larger panel. Sweet thank you card! So glad you joined us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev

  5. Both cards are beautiful. I like how you used the wreath in both ways.
I just ordered this stamp set tonight. 🙂

  6. The pretty layers on your thank you card are deliciously spring like, Nancy … what a lovely idea to create a floral wreath with those sweet, tiny blooms between the leaves! Love your Christmas card … it’s fresh and CAS … and wonderfully sparkly … and the berries and sequins are just the perfect touches! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  7. Nancy, What pretty cards, and I love the red and green against the crisp white background! So glad you played along with the Twofer Wreath Challenge. 🙂
