Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Wedding Wishes!

Hello, I have a wedding card for you today that goes along with the Special Occasion theme at The Flower Challenge this month. This card is a CASE of this card Here, with a few changes.  Erum makes gorgeous cards and you can check out her blog here. For the background, I first took my SU diagonal stencil and Smoky Slate ink and made a soft background.  Then I got out a neon pink Prisma Colored pencil and a ruler and added some deep dark lines. I really love the look of this. The stamps are from Altenew’s Beautiful Day and the sentiment is from Stampin Up. I watercolored my main flower after I heat embossed it, and used soft colored pencil on the rest. To wrap things up, I did some distressing with the same Smoky Slate. I am pretty happy with the way this came out.   Thanks for coming by and checking on what I have been up to today.  Nanc’

  1. Saying WOW does not seem WOW enough for this card, Nanc! First of all, you ROCKED the challenge inspiration photo to a T! Winner! Second of all, the layers, the stenciling, colors, the little background flowers, the schplatters, the way you did your stitched sediment so it looks like a journal cover! I’m in awe! To me, you are every bit as phenomenal as Erum! ❤Hugs, Darnell
