Hello and Happy New Year to you! I hope you had a great Holiday Season! It’s feels really good to be back to card making again, and the topping Colleen has chosen for you over at Seize the Birthday to kick off 2019 is Confetti! I had the time during my blogging break to purge my studio, boy that felt good!. While doing so, I found this perfect old SU stamp that I knew would help me with this card. Love when things come together like that. I decided since I needed a Birthday card so close to the New Year, I would use gold as my focal color. I heat embossed my confetti background, used a Verve sentiment, and the Balloons were punched out of gold paper and embossed with a dotted EF. Added two types of ribbon and I was done!

I love gold with black, Nancy, and this could actually be a ‘Happy New Year’ card. Very festive. I don’t usually make resolutions but if I did it would be to join Seize the Birthday more often this year. I’m off to find my confetti.
