Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Stamping Only…

Hello, Hope your day is off to a good start! Today over at Seize the Birthday Ashwini’s topping that she has chosen is “Stamping Only.”  If this topping isn’t for you, remember any kind of Birthday card and or project will do. I had to add a sequin or three to finish the card off…it needed something more.  This is card attempt number three, as the first two got trashed due to human error. LOL Don’t you just hate when you are nearly done with a card and you drop the ink pad or stamp. Not once but twice! LOL  I am not happy with this card, but I have to remember my word for the year is Simplify, so no time to start again! It’s just going to have to be good enough! The card has a mix of ZIGS, Copics and Colored Pencil.  One of the Pretty Pink Posh butterflies is just colored ink and no coloring at all.  The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up.

I really appreciate your visits.  Now, head on over to STB and check out the team’s and our guest’s work, I promise you will be MORE inspired over there. Nanc’

  7. I would be happy with this one. You are too hard on yourself. I like the simple colorful design and I have to mention that photographing it on the background was genius.

  8. I love your card, Nancy 🙂 ! It’s fresh and cheerful!!! It looks super clean even with so many pretty butterflies on it!!! Oh, ink smudge on almost finished card is so annoying. I know that!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  9. Beautiful butterflies! This is a gorgeous card Nancy, love the arrangement and striking colours, Cathy x

  10. Such a bright and cheery card. I know how frustrating that last minute bloop can be too! 🙂

  11. But why don’t you like it??? It is gorgeous!! Can’t believe you’ve used three different coloring media on this! That’s an amazing amount of time and effort spent! Loving the butterflies!! 🙂

  12. This is absolutely stunning!!!!! I love everything about it. The vibrant colours and the CAS design (excellent use of white space). I can definitely relate to ruining a perfect card by dropping an ink pad on it.
