Hello, Happy Summer Vacation to me!!!! Boy does it feel good! Besides catching up on some sleep that had invaded me as of late, I am in the middle of planning my Hubbies Retirement party! I am trying to make it a HUGE deal so lots to do. I made 85 invitations and now onto the decorations! I have until the end of the month, so lots of time. YIKES! I got this!! He knows about the party, but I won’t let him see the invites or the theme. So planning this alone is kinda tough. I have no one to bounce ideas off of. It will all come together I am sure! Could be why sleep has been such an issue…LOL. I seem to think best at 3 AM.
Onto my card, There is a mix of Copics, and Colored pencil on today’s card. I also have a faint hexagon shape pattern on the background made with a stencil and some water after I blended the oxide inks. I can’t tell you whose stamp the flower is as it doesn’t belong to me. The butterflies, that I now wish I had left off, our from SU. The sentiment is Verve and the tags are MFT.
It’s Anything Goes as long as it’s Birthday related at Seize the Birthday.

Hi Nanc’ the flowers are from Pretty Pink Posh called Pretty Petunias (the other comment nailed it!) I wonder if you got those from me last summer when you were here?? Anyway, pretty card and lovely background! I wish I was closer to help you with this huge project, but what fun…now when are you going to join him in retiring? What I like most about this are the bright, summery colors! The flowers are colored beautifully and I like the addition of the butterflies! The dual sentiment panel colors really caught my eye, as well as the tilted image panel and layering! Simply beautiful!
