Hello, It was time to get ready for this week’s Just Us Girls challenge, and I had an idea for my card so I went to work. I got out my brand new jar of SU-texture paste (never opened) to realize it was completely dried out. So luckily I came across something even better and Amazon Prime saved the day! Have you heard of Glitter Paste? You probably have…I tend to be a little behind the trends. Well, it’s magically delicious if you ask me! Not only did I make the above card’s background, but I went ahead and made 5 more additional panels to use later. So fun! To start off my card, I stenciled some color down using some (new to me) Catherine Pooler ink. Next, you lay the stencil back over and use the glitter paste right over top. That is where the magic happens and the color becomes more vibrant and sparkly. I colored my sweet little MFT-PI stamp with Copics and colored pencil. The hibiscus stamp is from SU. Here is a link to the paste! You’re welcome. 😉
Here is another angle so you can see the shimmer. Hope your day is wonderful! Come join us this week at JUGS! Nanc’

This IS magically delish and oh, so darling, Nanc’! I don’t use e/paste often, but I’m like you and just want to keep on pasting every stencil I own! It’s so fun and the results are so gorgeous and schparkly! Well done! I also caught up while I was here and want to wish you good luck with hubby’s party! I’m sure you will pull it off perfectly! Then again, if one tiny thing goes wrong, that creates fun memories, like at a wedding when the groom drops the ring, lol! I hope you take lots of pictures to share and I can’t wait to see your beautiful invitations!! Hugs, Darnell

That glitter paste is fantastic, Nancy. It has much bigger flakes than the one I have and it catches the light beautifully. Your little girl is adorable.

Sweet as Nancy! She’s simply sugarly adorable in front of your amazing shimmery stenciled background. Certainly a lot better than just plain old texture paste. Cutie!
