CAS Watercolour Challenge

Hi Friends,  I know…I am on a role with posting! Right? It’s been a great week for sure! I have one more card for a challenge that I have been eyeing all month long and is nearly ready to close. I made it, right under the wire.  The card is for the CAS Watercolour Challenge where the challenge is something blue.  I sure hope my card qualifies for CAS. It was very simple to make and still has a lot of white space, but I am a bit afraid that I added one too many layers. Fingers crossed! But if that one is a no go….. I am also linking my card up at Inkspirational Challenge where the word is Garden.

Here are a few details:  The flower and leaves are from one of my all-time favorite Stupendous sets called Bouquet for You, and are obviously heat embossed and watercolored.  They are then fussy cut, which was not hard at all.  The white leafy swirl is from MFT and I have had it for YEARS! The double square frames were gifted to me from my friend Barb, so I am not sure whose they are. Love the look of them doubled and titled! The sentiment is from SSS.  Added some sequins and I was done.

Thanks for all the love as of late, I enjoy each an every visit and comment. Nanc’

  1. Wonderful design and the flowers are so very gorgeous!

  2. Haha! When I saw this card I went right to, the rectangle frames placed wonky. A favorite of mine to do. Then I see I have them to you. I cannot take any credit at all, for the rest of the card as if is so beautiful with the white and the blue and the design. I am so jealous of your talent.

  3. Wow… those flowers are gorgeous! I also like how you layered the frames to create a creative design! Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!

  4. Such beautiful flowers, Nancy! I love the white embossing with the soft blue! The double tilted frame is amazing and I’m going to remember that! Love the white flourish too. Still lots of white space and lots of texture. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Watercolour!

  5. This is gorgeous with your white embossed and blue watercoloured blooms. They really pop with all that white on the card. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!

  6. Those blue flowers are so lovely, Nancy. I love how you added the white leaf flourish and the tilted frames. Great design and beautiful card.
