One Layer

Hello, Over at Addicted to CAS they want us to make a one layer card, so that is what I have for you today!  I just love the look of ink blending using Oxide inks and sticky notes to get a straight edge. It’s quick, easy to do and usually has great results. The stamp set is from SU and I really love it a lot, I just wish it came with dies.  I really want a flamingo set with die cuts, but can’t justify having two flamingos. Do you all feel that way about buying similar stamps twice?

Thanks for the visit and have a great day! Nanc’

  1. Very pretty one layer card. Great job with the ink blending and the scene you created. TFS

  2. This is breathtakingly beautiful! I love the scene you made and how you spotlight only a portion of the design with colors. And those colors are gorgeous!

  3. You did an amazing job ink blending with your Oxide inks! I love your color palette and that you chose to contrast it with black for all the other images…So striking and so very beautiful! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Addicted to CAS!

It’s frustrating how we feel compelled to buy 2 or 3 sets of stamps just to get the dies we want/need…I hear ya! Have you contacted SU to see if they’re going to offer dies at a later date? Just a thought 🙂

  4. OMGosh this is absolutely GORGEOUS! I’m in awe of how beautiful and simple this design is! But of course you have those beautiful Florida sunsets to use as inspiration.

  5. I have to say you convince me to get those inks for my next card I make 💕thanks so much for sharing

  6. Wow, that sunset just blew me away, such a wonderful design. Love the colours and the whole design.
