I stumbled upon a new to me card challenge site called Inspire Create Challenges and their theme this week is Sympathy. I love this stamp set called Painted Flowers that I got from my friend Bobby, and I hadn’t used it in a while. I knew it was going to make a great Sympathy card. The sentiment is heat-set with gold embossing powder. The center of the flowers were made with Nuvo drops. I watercolored my flowers a bit after I stamped them on watercolor paper, to try to get some shading.
I am also entering this card over at The Flower Challenge where it’s Anything Goes.
I hope you have a wonderful day, Nanc’

Stunning, Nancy. I’m glad that set is working for you – and in a BIG way. I love that the background flowers are outline only to let the watercolored ones stand out.

I forgot to thank you for sharing this loveliness with us a The Flower Challenge.

What a gorgeous way to convey your message Nancy, those flowers are beautifully arranged and the way you created the background using them without color enhances the loveliness of the ones you colored.
Thank you for playing along with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE.
Hugs.

OOOPS!! The first comment didn’t post right away so I thought I had done something wrong and that’s why I wrote another one.
Please feel free to delete either comment, I apologize.
Hugs.
