I am so in love with the topping we have starting today over at Seize the Birthday! Glenda came up with this idea and now I think we should try it in every color of the rainbow! Thanks Glenda! I wish you could see this card in real life, it has Wink of Stella on the flowers and is really pretty!
I am also linking this card up over at The Flower Challenge as their challenge is Spots or Stripes. This challenge inspired me a lot for this card! I made a design similar to this one a few months back and thought it would work perfectly for this challenge.
Here are a few card details! Flowers-Stamplorations, the vase is Gina K., the stripes were made with a stencil and Oxide ink and a black pen for outline, Sentiment is Verve, the grey paper is embossed using a circle embossing folder from SU, flowers were colored with Prisma and Copics, you can’s see it but I have Wink of Stella on the flowers too, the rectangle dies are both MFT.
I sure hope you pop on over to Seize the Birthday and check out the amazing cards from my DT and guest Annie! Speaking of Annie, I would like to thank you for being such an Amazing guest the past three months your cards have been fabulous and I know our followers enjoyed them too! I so look forward to having you being back in our gallery when you have the time. HEART HUGS! Nanc’

Such a cool layout, nice to see some angles instead of just squared up designs like we all make. The pop of red is fabulous, especially with the grey flowers. And really like the touch of stripes under the vase. So very glad you joined us this month at The Flower Challenge!!

The gray flowers look wonderful with the red polka dotted vase, Nancy. I love the stripes and the way you outlined them. Thanks for sharing your card with us at The Flower Challenge.

Love everything about this, Nancy! Gorgeous pencil colouring. Love the unexpected pop of red on the vase rather than the flowers. Great design too.

Love this card. I came to you after seeing it on ‘create a smile’s’ blog. I didn’t realise the vase was a vase lol, I thought it was a gnomes hat hahaha. It looks like a poem poem topping at the top. It’s only when I enlarged the picture that I saw exactly what it was. I couldn’t of been more wrong could I? 🤣🤣

Why it says poem poem I do not know 😀😂 it’s meant to say pom pom.
Also I should of said, when I saw your card on ‘create a smile’ I didn’t have my glasses on. 👓 lol. Xxxx
