Hello, If you know me a lot or maybe a little, you know I love a good Color Challenge, so when I saw the colors over at The Color Throwdown I knew right away I wanted to play along. Look at that graphic…aren’t those mittens super cool? I needed a card for a baby shower for a co-worker, so I had to go that direction instead of the typical Valentines’ that everyone is starting to create this time of year. All of my supplies are MFT except for the sentiment which is Verve. What do you think of the Tag insert…was it a stupid idea? I am on the fence. LOL I used a mix of Prisma and Copics for my sweet Elephant and kite.
I am also going to link my card up at The Paper Players where they have a love theme starting. I thought my card worked perfectly since it says “Love is in the Air” and my Ele is floating among the clouds.

These are some of my favorite color combinations. You made a fabulous card and I love the elephant with that balloon floating in the clouds. The clouds are perfectly done. I love the staggered layers too. I do like the tag and if it actually came out so that the recipient could punch it out and use it again, that would be super cool.

What a great card! And I love the tag insert! I’d love to get a card like that and be able to turn it into a bookmark… I might use that idea to try to create my first svg… most of my grandkids are readers and you’ve just given me a great idea for their next birthday cards! TFS Nancy!

I love that cute little elephant and how he is floating off with the balloons. Those clouds are so well done too.

Nancy, this is just an adorable card with little Ele floating through the clouds with her kite! Love the tag insert, it adds interest and is a great way to ground all the elements. So glad I spotted your delightful card in the Paper Players gallery, thanks for sharing!
