Hello, Here is the newest topping and card for Seize the Birthday! Colleen has asked us to make the sentiment the focal point of the card. I am not 100 % in love with my card and I was going to try again, but there was no time in my busy life these days. I was just sponging away and probably worrying about things when suddenly I realized I made one of the leaves pink and decided to just roll with it. I promise you if you hop on over to Seize the Birthday, my teammates did a far better job than I.
Before I go, I need to thank Joyce for being such a fabulous guest these past few months. We have really enjoyed all of your creations and hope you will continue to grace us with your fabulous work in our gallery from time to time!!
Card Details: My new Peony Stencil for SSS and the Sentiment is also SSS and is from the You Matter stamp set. A bow and some rhinestones to finish it off.
Have a creatively wonderful day, Nanc’

If you hadn’t mentioned it I probably would have overlooked the pink leaves, Nancy. I love the arrangement of the flowers and the soft organza ribbon. I hope things calm down in your life soon.

I thought the aim was to get the entire thing in monochrome! The pink is such a fabulous color anyway, so it looks great! I love the touch of ribbon too. Its a wonderful card, Nancy!

Do not talk badly about this perfectly pretty pink card, Nanc’! I know how these cards will sometimes just take over right out of your hand with a mind of their own and I have to say, keeping it monochrome with pink leaves, a huge YOU, and a sweet organza bow makes this delightfully feminine!! Hugs, Darnell

I think your card looks great all in pink. I didn’t notice the pink leaves either until you mentioned it. The organza bow is so pretty with the pink. Love it.

This is so attractive as it is, why would you not like it? The colors are incredible with the black sentiment and that is all it needs to be impressive and marvelous.

I think I prefer this as a monochromatic card to how it would look with green leaves. Just saying. 😉 The black is a perfect contrast, and then there’s that sheer, pretty ribbon! All good.

The monochromatic background looks beautiful with the light ombre look ! And the black sentiment pops off the card! It’s a lovely card in pink (much better than with green leaves IMHO) 🙂 !
