Hello, I hope you are finding a way to occupy your mind these days. Card making seems to help me a lot. So after my 8-3:30 Schoology schedule, I usually head to the studio for some downtime. We have a new topping starting today at Seize the Birthday. The topping is Spring Fling. Before I forget, STB is also doing another special challenge starting on April 16th, so make sure you check back with me or the STB blog then. Now as for today’s card. This is a CASE of my own. I just love these flowers from Verve and I thought they would work perfectly for this challenge. The paper was sponged with ink first before I stamped the flowers. I took some leftover stamped flowers to make my MFT inlay die-cut letters. The scalloped edging is from Papertrey Ink. A few sequins and I was done. What do you think of the white leaves? I am on the fence.
You have to come to check out the DT’s cards along with our guest Stef, they are all so wonderful and so different! I love my teammates so much! They inspire me each and every day!
I am also going to add this card to The Flower Challenge where they have a Spring or Autumn theme starting.
Take care and a big cyber hug to you! Nanc’

Love the bold and graphic look of your card, Nancy! The vibrant yellow goes well with the black!
I think there would be no better option for the leaves than white, as the flowers are already so colorful! Great choice!

Nancy, your card is fabulous! It’s such a modern take on the toppings choice and those flowers are beautiful! Plus, the sentiment adds a terrific graphic look that is so complimentary to the whole vibe of the card. And I do like the white leaves. Awesome as always, my friend!

Seriously, Nancy – you make something different each time, and I end up studying your card, instead of just commenting! Love this! The pair of the bright yellow and black is wonderful, and then the multi-colored, blended florals and like you’ve mentioned, the white leaves and the inlaid die cut sentiment – every single thing – I love it!!
