Hello, Happy Friday! Today’s post is for two challenges. You probably guessed that the above card is for the Twofer Challenge going on this month. I paired one of the cards with the color challenge that is nearly coming to an end at The Paper Players. I decided on cream as my 3rd color. It’s hard to see the dimension I have on the bottom card, but the clouds and umbrella are raised with pop dots. The cards were made using some very old no-name stamps that I have had for eons, but are a staple in my collection. Don’t pay any attention to the uncentered yellow piece on the bottom card. I can’t believe I did that. The yellow paper has a texture almost like felt, and there was no moving it once it was down. The cloud card was colored with a mix of Copics and colored pencils. Believe it or not, I added the clouds after I colored them. I had originally planned on paper piecing those as well. Hi there- sentiment is from MFT and Just a note-is from Close to My Heart.

Great umbrella cards, Nancy. The design on each is different but well thought out. Even off-centered. lol That left room for the sentiment.

Such amazing umbrella cards, Nanc’! I love how you popped up the pretty paper-pieced umbrella and fun clouds on your hello design and the sweet organza ribbon tied in a bow works perfectly! And your rainbow-colored umbrellas rising up into the heavens creates a great visual for the uplifting sediment on your awesome second design! I am uplifted by these cards. Pun intended. They are talented and delightful I think my fav is the many floating umbrells and the sentment that goes with it.
