Hello, I hope your day is going well! Today’s card is for the Color Challenge starting over at Just Us Girls.   Not a fan of this card and I wanted to try again but ran out of time. Not sure you can see in this photo but the dotted background shows through on the petals of my flowers.  I was hoping that wouldn’t happen and I would be able to color over them. However, that is where my color orange comes in. LOL   I did a terrible job blending my Copics too.

The design team and our guest did a much better job with this challenge..please come by and play along.  Nanc’

  1. So gorgeous and I love the coloring.

  2. The dots showing through really make it for me Nancy – it makes the petals look delicate and transluscent! An absolutely stunning card! I can’t wait to join in with these gorgeous happy colours. Hope you’re doing well 🙂

  3. Where else would your orange be if it wasn’t in the polka dots? I think that worked out perfectly. I love that stamp set and your coloring is wonderful, Nancy.

  4. You are too hard on yourself! I love how the polka dots show through your flowers! And your coloring is beautiful. This is such a pretty card!

  5. So so pretty Nancy. Love the dotted background. We are our worst critics. The dots just add that something extra in a lovely way.

  6. I think it’s a lovely card and I like the texture that the dotty background adds. Very pretty. Deborah x

  7. Not sure what you don’t like about this, I think it is amazing! Your flowers are gorgeous and I love the polka dots adding a bit more interest.

  8. I am so glad that you felt you didn’t have time and just left this fancy creation as is. I love that the petals are so light that you can see the dots behind them. So intriguing!
