CAS is not as easy as one would think. I have had this darling panda stamp set from Woodware Craft Collection for a very long time and it was past time to get some ink on it. It is a very large stamp with five Pandas all connected in one long strip. Since I didn’t have a block large enough and my Misti is a mini I decided to cut them apart. Luckily there was just enough space in between the bears to cut them without ruining anything. So now I have three single bears and two bears frolicking on the ground. SCORE! I paired this cutie up with some foliage from SU and the speech bubble is SU also. The greeting is Verve. I did give the cute little bear some shading of grey with some Prismas.
I am linking one of these cards over at Perfectly CAS where the word is Animals and over at NBUS with Darnell!
Have a creative day! Nanc’
PS- Hubby and I went to a real craft store today. Besides the grocery store and Dunkin drive-thru (We are addicted to Caramel Iced Lattes. ) we haven’t been anywhere in about 8 weeks. Can I just say it was really strange. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would and looked forward to coming home. It was a craft store too!! I am just as shocked as you are right about now! I think I may have become more of an introvert than I already was….and I don’t consider this a good thing. 😦

I find CAS cards the most difficult to create. And your’s are both wonderful! Thanks for sharing it at NBUS. Kathy A at myasperations.blogspot.com

Yea for you to cut your stamp. That is not easy for us crafters to do, I know. IN this case you really did score. This little guy is so stinking cute and I see why you gave him center stage.

These cards are adorable and I love how CAS they are. I wish I was better at that. Brilliant to turn one Panda into five! I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your craft store visit so much. Staying at home and social distancing is getting just a little bit too comfortable for me, too, but if that’s the way it has to be… I’m not ready to go out there and get crazy.

So adorable and wonderfully CAS! Great idea to cut your stamp apart… you’ll probably get more use out of it, too.

These are so cute, Nancy. I need to get a panda stamp although maybe one without the need for surgery.

Another great CASlicious card design from you, Nanc’! It sounds like you did a fantastic job of operating on the pandas so that no one was harmed and you’ve got more useable stamps as a result! I love your fur coloring and choice of leaves and word balloon sediment! As for the shopping, maybe you are more nervous about the opening than you thought and its not that you are becoming more introverted? No one really knows if there will be a spike and we still have to keep safe, so we won’t be relaxed and giddy to be in stamp stores like we were six months ago until we have a vaccine. That’s how I feel anyway, but I have faith that we’ll get that feeling back again once we overcome this killer. Give yourself a hug from me and thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
